Daisy Ridley

This is the first digital painting i've done in ages! This is easily the best thing I've done so far. I learned a lot doing this one. In the future, I'm gonna avoid reference images that include sequins. Good lord!

For my base sketch, I used a method I saw in a YouTube video where you places a few small dots over your reference image, and then use them to help with your sketch. I found this to be super helpful, especially considering how long it had been since I last did any painting. My base sketch wasn't perfect, but they rarely are.

This was also my first time doing teeth.

I'm really happy with this piece!
